Alice qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner at the British School of Shiatsu-Do, and has practiced Shiatsu for twelve years.

Alice was first introduced to Shiatsu in 2003 and was so impressed by the health benefits, in all aspects of her being, that she gave up her job as an event manager and re-trained for nearly four years to become a fully qualified Shiatsu-Do MRSS practitioner.

The way Shiatsu unwinds the body’s manifestation of somatic symptoms from psychological and / or physical trauma, illness or stress continues to fascinate Alice.  The added positive aspect of this is that Shiatsu practitioners seem to be able to treat all kinds of dis-ease in the body with extraordinary results.

Alice has studied Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) the Five Element Theory, and ShinTai Shiatsu, as well as specialising in more focused areas such as the use of the eight extra-ordinary vessels and core energetics, fascial release, and structural re-alignment.

In addition to treating from her own home, Alice treats Shiatsu on Yoga and Qigong retreats in the UK and Europe.

Alice has an impeccable reputation amongst her clients and has treated people with a variety of conditions.  The success of her practice lies with her intuitive ability to identify with a client's core imbalances, and her judgement in employing the appropriate techniques from her metaphorical toolbox of skills.

Please note that during these Covid times, Alice is following all government guidelines and implementing them within her practice. As Alice practices Shiatsu in a private household, in which there is just one other person living (and who works from home), the environment is one of the safest in which to enjoy a treatment in these unusual times.
