Alice qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner at the British School of Shiatsu-Do, and is a registered member of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS).

Alice was first introduced to Shiatsu in 2003 and was so impressed by the health benefits, in all aspects of her being, that she gave up her job as an event manager and re-trained for nearly four years to become a fully qualified Shiatsu-Do practitioner.

The way Shiatsu unwinds the body’s manifestation of somatic symptoms from psychological and / or physical trauma, illness or stress continues to fascinate Alice.  The added positive aspect of this is that Shiatsu practitioners seem to be able to treat all kinds of dis-ease in the body with extraordinary results.

Alice has studied Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Five Element Theory of Shiatsu, as well as specialising in more focused areas such as Pregnancy, (including before and after the birth and working with partners), Fascial Release, Structural re-alignment and Core Energetics.

Alice has an impeccable reputation amongst her clients and has treated people with a variety of conditions.  The success of her practice lies with her intuitive ability to identify with a client's core imbalances, and her judgement in employing the appropriate techniques from her metaphorical toolbox of skills.
